
HelioCloud is a collaborative, cloud-based research platform offering reproducible containerized environments with a JupyterLab interface to scalable compute resources. It features real-time cost tracking for transparent budgeting and rapid, CDK-based deployments ideal for workshops and institutional research use. We present new features for our 1.1 release and talk future goals, cloud management practices, and new techniques used to reduce cost.
