Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way research is conducted, from accelerating discovery to enabling new methodologies. In this talk, Prof. Jennifer Clarke and Dr Derek Weitzel will explore how AI approaches are being applied across disciplines and highlight the scientific cyberinfrastructure resources in North America—such as the National AI Research Resource (NAIRR) and the Open Science Grid (OSG)—that are making these advances possible. They will discuss how these platforms are empowering researchers to adopt AI at scale, lowering barriers to access, and fostering a more open and collaborative scientific ecosystem. This presentation was delivered during the EGI webinar 'AI for Research: Harnessing Scientific Cyberinfrastructure in North America' on 22 October 2025. https://www.egi.eu/event/ai-for-research-harnessing-scientific-cyberinfrastructure-in-north-america/
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
