INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL NO APOIO À TUTORIA EM EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA

Abstract

Este trabalho investiga as possibilidades e limites do uso de assistentes virtuais baseados em inteligência artificial (IA) no apoio à tutoria em Educação a Distância (EaD). O objetivo é analisar até que ponto essas tecnologias podem replicar ou complementar as funções do tutor humano, bem como identificar desafios pedagógicos, técnicos e éticos decorrentes dessa adoção. A metodologia consiste em revisão bibliográfica qualitativa e análise documental de casos brasileiros, com foco em autores como Montero, Siqueira, Oliveira Neto & Nascimento, entre outros. Os resultados apontam que assistentes virtuais são eficazes em tarefas estruturadas, como feedback automático, lembrança de prazos, esclarecimento de questões factuais e monitoramento de participação. Por outro lado, apresentam limitações quanto à empatia, à mediação de significados complexos, ao suporte às dimensões emocional, à adaptação contextual profunda e à inclusão digital. Conclui-se que os assistentes virtuais devem ser integrados em modelos híbridos de tutoria, onde o tutor humano permanece central. Como contribuição, propõe-se um modelo prático de tutoria híbrida, com definição de papéis, formação docente específica, supervisão ética e avaliação contínua.
