In 2024, WP4 of the EOSC Focus project continued supporting the European Open Science Cloud - Association (EOSC-A) in monitoring, reporting, and evaluating the EOSC Partnership's progress. Key achievements during this period included the update of the EOSC Partnership Monitoring Framework (MF, V7.0, June2024) and the completion of the 2nd Biennial KPI Survey, which saw a significant increase in stakeholder participation. Additionally, the surveys of the Additional Activities Plan 2025 (AAP 2025) and Additional Activities Report 2023 (AAR 2023) validated a value of in-kind contributions by EOSC-A Members over €322 millions, for 2023, with projections exceeding a total of €1.3 billions, by 2025. WP4 also subcontracted development of a survey-data management system (the EOSC Monitoring Tool) to improve the efficiency and transparency of the EOSC-A monitoring and reporting activities, and the management of those data. Measuring the impact of the EOSC partnership was initiated through the EOSC Macro-Roadmap impact case studies and the delivery of the Sustainable Exploitation Planning (SEP) methodology to the projects participating the HE Impact WG. These efforts support the long-term sustainability of EOSC-related activities, contributing to the continued success of the EOSC Partnership and its alignment with Horizon Europe priorities.
