L'engagement social en tant que saine habitude de vie

Abstract

Ce guide vise à présenter les modes de fonctionnement et les effets positifs de l’engagement social sur la santé physique, mentale et sociale, avec une attention particulière aux capacités et aux limites des personnes engagées. Il s’appuie sur les résultats de recherches scientifiques montrant que diverses formes d’engagement social (ex. : bénévolat, don d’argent, don de biens) permettent aux individus d’améliorer leur santé globale et leur bien-être. Ces effets se traduisent notamment par la prévention de certaines maladies chroniques, la réduction du risque de mortalité et, plus largement, l’amélioration de la qualité de vie.
