Science operations centers increasingly need flexible, scalable solutions to support diverse scientific workflows and programming environments. GenericSOC is a modular Science Operations Center framework built on CakePHP that connects seamlessly to scientist-developed software, including tools in FORTRAN, IDL, Python, C++, and more. It can run or interact with software on the browser, server, or remote containers seamlessly from the user’s perspective. Using Docker containerization and a queueing mechanism, scientist code is isolated. The scientists work independently within dedicated git submodules without access to the full codebase, and the web team reviews changes before publishing updates. GenericSOC also includes our own first-party tools such as advanced plotting with common table expressions for large datasets, permission controls, and a workspace for creating PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, and emails from content generated by any tool on the platform. Designed to be generic, it can be deployed for any mission or non-mission, providing a unified, extensible framework for diverse science operations.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
