Abstract

Am 16. Oktober 2025 fand an der Montanuniversität Leoben der NEFI Technology Talk „CO₂ as a Resource – Technologien und Chancen“ statt. Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung stand die Frage, wie Kohlenstoffdioxid nicht nur als Emissionsproblem, sondern als wertvolle Ressource für industrielle Anwendungen genutzt werden kann. Der Technology Talk brachte Expert:innen aus Industrie, Forschung und Politik zusammen, um aktuelle Entwicklungen im Bereich Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage (CCU/S) zu diskutieren und neue Projektideen zu entwickeln. Die Veranstaltung wurde vom Lehrstuhl für Energieverbundtechnik der Montanuniversität Leoben im Rahmen von NEFI – New Energy for Industry organisiert, in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Innovation Hub Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage (CCUS) - NEFI und dem Projekt directCCE - Direct Carbon Capture and Electrolysis - NEFI.
