
The purpose of this spreadsheet is to calculate the Expected Commercial Value of an R&D project. The ECV is a standardised metric and is of widespread use in the strategic controlling of R&D portfolios. Here we added the impact of SSbD and provide both the "SSbD-ified ECV" and the Return on Investment (ROI) for the implementation of SSbD on R&D portfolios. The spreadsheet is an element of D2.2 "Industrial design principles integration to Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design" of project PLANETS.
