Abstract

The editorial of the Environmental Climate Education dossier in the journal Letramento SocioAmbiental presents the public call as a participatory social mapping process that, in June 2025, mobilized 88 contributions from educators, collectives, communicators and researchers from all over Brazil. Based on authors such as Acserald, Wright, Foucault and Santos & Meneses, the text argues that the call not only invited texts, but activated territories, listened to absences and made visible plural knowledge, revealing a contemporary ecology of knowledge in the face of the climate crisis. The diversity of voices received reveals the educational power of network participation, public listening and Educommunication as political mediation. The dossier is thus consolidated as a collective gesture of epistemological resistance and political contribution to COP 30, affirming Education as a field of care, justice and planetary regeneration.
