Patrimoni Cultural i Gènere

Abstract

#GEDIS #SummerSchoolBarcelona

[eng] This Open Educational Resource (OER) analyses the relationship between cultural heritage and gender inequality, showing how women authors have been historically excluded from the literary and cultural canon. Using concrete examples, the material examines the “blind spots” of cultural memory and proposes strategies to address them, such as the re-edition, translation, and digitisation of forgotten works, as well as the revision of cultural value criteria. The OER emphasises the key role of libraries, archives, and digital projects in preserving and disseminating a more inclusive heritage. It also highlights the contribution of international institutions and initiatives — such as UNESCO and contemporary feminist projects — that work to give visibility to historically silenced voices. This material is part of the European GEDIS Project – Gender Diversity in Information Science: Challenges in Higher Education, co-funded by the European Union, which promotes the integration of the gender perspective in higher education through the creation of open educational resources. #GEDIS #SummerSchoolBarcelona
