Coleoxestia spinifemorata Fragoso, 1993 (Figs 45–55) Coleoxestia spinifemorata Fragoso, 1993: 333. Remarks. According to Fragoso (1993), C. spinifemorata Fragoso, 1993 is mostly reddish-castaneous. However, the female from Peru (Figs 45–55) is mostly black, as well the male examined by Galileo & Santos-Silva (2016). The anterior region of the mesoventral process in the holotype has a small but distinct tubercle, as reported by Fragoso (2013). Although the female from Peru has the tubercle, it is less projected, being more a protuberance. The antennae in the Peruvian female are also slightly longer than in the holotype: almost reaching apex in Peruvian female; not reaching apical fifth in the holotype. The female from Peru is also distinctly larger than the holotype. Currently, it is known from French Guiana and Brazil (Mato Grosso) (Monné 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). Fragoso (1993) reported: “ Holotype ([symbol of female, 27 x 7 mm) labeled “ BRAZIL, Mato Grosso (Diamantino, Faz. S. Thiago), X.1981 ”, ex-coll. Huedelpohl [sic], by agreement, at MNRJ.” However, the holotype is currently in the MZSP collection and has the additional information on a label: “ 12.35S 56.20W.” We suspect that, despite the information that Hüdepohl donated the specimen to the MNRJ collection, in fact, the specimen was donated to the MZSP collection. Material examined. PERU (new country record), Loreto: El Milagro, “ altura km 21 carretera Iquitos Nauta,” 1 female, 14.II.2004, J.J. Ramírez leg. (JJRH).
