PARTICULARITĂŢILE FAPTELOR INFRACŢIONALE COMISE DE FEMEI: PERSPECTIVE CRIMINOLOGICE ȘI JURIDICO-PENALE

Abstract

Female criminality represents a distinct criminological phenomenon, shaped by specific psychological, social, and cultural factors. Although its prevalence is lower compared to male criminality, the forms it takes – domestic violence, infanticide, property and economic crimes, or involvement in criminal groups – reveal essential particularities. This study highlights the specific manifestations of female offending through doctrinal and jurisprudential analysis, identifying determining factors and criminological implications. The results show that women tend to commit crimes under the influence of emotional-affective factors and social pressures, which calls for differentiated criminal policies to ensure effective sanctioning and prevention. By adopting an interdisciplinary approach and integrating empirical findings, the article provides a comprehensive perspective on the phenomenon and outlines directions for public policies and preventive measures adapted to this field.
