Abstract

Il volume raccoglie gli atti del convegno conclusivo del progetto di ricerca LibMovIt, dedicato allo studio della mobilità libraria, intellettuale e istituzionale nel Settecento, con particolare attenzione alla letteratura odeporica e alle biblioteche come nodi culturali in trasformazione.Quattro aree tematiche delineano l’architettura del volume: la prima indaga gli aspetti editoriali e linguistici della letteratura di viaggio; la seconda si concentra su istituzioni bibliotecarie e collezioni significative, analizzate come luoghi dinamici di conservazione e diffusione del sapere; la terza restituisce prospettive individuali di viaggiatori e viaggiatrici nei luoghi della conoscenza, con attenzione anche alla scrittura odeporica femminile; la quarta esplora strumenti digitali e metodologie computazionali applicate allo studio del Grand Tour e dei testi settecenteschi.I saggi qui raccolti riflettono la ricchezza degli approcci e il dialogo interdisciplinare che hanno caratterizzato il progetto, offrendo uno sguardo nuovo sulla convergenza tra studi storici e tecnologie digitali, e aprendo nuove prospettive per l’analisi e la valorizzazione del patrimonio librario mobile del XVIII secolo.
