Kulturelles Erbe und Gender

Abstract

Diese Infografik, die im Rahmen des europäischen Projekts GEDIS – Gender Diversity in Information Science: Challenges in Higher Education entwickelt wurde, analysiert, wie das kulturelle Erbe – insbesondere in der Literatur und den Künsten – Geschlechter- und Repräsentationsungleichheiten widerspiegelt und reproduziert. Das Material zeigt, dass die Konstruktion des kulturellen Kanons historisch durch den Ausschluss weiblicher Stimmen und von Minderheiten geprägt ist, und lädt zu einer kritischen Reflexion darüber ein, nach welchen Kriterien Werke ausgewählt, gewürdigt und weitergegeben werden.
