EcoModities™ – White Paper No. 1 introduces a quantitative research framework designed to measure how sustainability transitions reshape global commodity markets. Integrating methods from quantitative finance, environmental economics, and sustainability analytics, EcoModities™ captures “eco-regime shifts” across agricultural, energy, and industrial commodities. The paper defines the EcoModities Index (EMX), a composite indicator that quantifies sustainability-driven market transitions through volatility, liquidity, and correlation dynamics. This work bridges financial modeling and climate-aware policymaking, contributing to the emerging field of sustainable finance and commodity market analysis. Developed by Luca E. Mattei (LM Trading & Development) – Independent research initiative, October 2025. Keywords: Sustainability, Commodity Markets, ESG, Regime Switching, Climate Risk, Quantitative Finance, EcoModities, Transition Economics
