Pod phenotypic diversity included in the bean breeding set

Abstract

The bean breeding set (BBS1) is a collection of bean genotypes (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) selected to develop tasks for the Legume Generation project (GA 101081329 ). The genotypes were selected based on the results obtained in previous projects (BRESOV, INCREASE, TOOLBEAN, etc), considering traits such as stress resistance to common diseases, yield stability, utilization, and diversity. This file is a collection of pictures showing the pod diversity presented in this panel. Four-five pods per line are showed on a 1 cm grid template. Pods were collected from the 2025 field trial (Villaviciosa, Asturias, Spain) when the pods were fully developed and the seeds began to increase in size. The list of genotypes with their origin is also included
