Abstract

Introducción: El estrés es una preocupación creciente entre los profesionales sanitarios, cuyo trabajo está marcado por altas demandas, largas horas y exposición a situaciones desagradables. Recientemente se ha propuesto el mindfulness digital para mitigarlo. El objetivo es evaluar la eficacia del mindfulness digital para reducir el estrés en fisioterapeutas y enfermeros. Método: Se realizó una revisión siguiendo la normativa PRISMA. Se obtuvieron 119 estudios. Tras eliminar duplicados y aplicar criterios de inclusión quedaron 7 ensayos. Resultados: El mindfulness digital es eficaz para reducir el estrés en fisioterapeutas y enfermeros. La muestra fue de 3.191 personas. La duración del programa osciló entre 2 semanas y 4,5 meses. Todos los estudios mostraron seguridad. Conclusiones: La terapia con mindfulness digital es eficaz para reducir el estrés, así como también mejorar la ansiedad, la depresión, el insomnio, el agotamiento, la calidad de vida, aumentar la autocompasión y la atención plena en fisioterapeutas y enfermeros.

Introduction: Stress is a growing concern among healthcare professionals, whose work is marked by high demands, long hours, and exposure to unpleasant situations. Digital mindfulness has recently been proposed to mitigate this stress. The objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of digital mindfulness in reducing stress in physiotherapists and nurses. Method: A review was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines. 119 studies were obtained. After eliminating duplicates and applying inclusion criteria, 7 trials remained. Results: Digital mindfulness is effective in reducing stress in physiotherapists and nurses. The sample consisted of 3,191 participants. Program duration ranged from 2 weeks to 4.5 months. All studies demonstrated safety. Conclusions: Digital mindfulness therapy is effective in reducing stress, as well as improving anxiety, depression, insomnia, burnout, quality of life, and increasing self-compassion and mindfulness in physiotherapists and nurses.
