Neoliberalismo, globalización y violencia simbólica: una trama de poder y resistencia

Abstract

El artículo explora cómo el neoliberalismo, la globalización y la violencia simbólica configuran el escenario en el que se inscriben las experiencias diaspóricas, y cómo estas comunidades despliegan formas de resistencia que resignifican la memoria y la identidad. El estudio introduce el concepto de Confluencia Resiliente de Identidades, definido como la capacidad de las comunidades migrantes para transformar, reinterpretar y ampliar sus identidades culturales a través del diálogo dinámico entre sus tradiciones de origen y las influencias del entorno receptor. Este fenómeno se manifiesta en la resignificación del patrimonio—particularmente en la gastronomía, el arte y la literatura—surgiendo como una estrategia de contraposición a la mercantilización cultural y los modelos hegemónicos. Basado en los marcos teóricos de Homi K. Bhabha y Stuart Hall. En última instancia, el ensayo desafía la percepción de la cultura como un elemento pasivo dentro de las dinámicas impulsadas por el mercado y, en su lugar, la conceptualiza como un campo de lucha y transformación social. En un mundo donde las estructuras de poder se reconfiguran constantemente, la resistencia expresada a través de la Confluencia Resiliente de Identidades evidencia que la memoria y la identidad pueden actuar como fuerzas transformadoras, cuestionando las desigualdades arraigadas y redefiniendo el significado del progreso y la pertenencia en la sociedad globalizada.
