Calentador solar de agua con almacenamiento integrado

Abstract

Se presenta el estudio térmico de un calentador agua solar con almacenamiento autocontenido para uso doméstico, está integrado como un solo elemento de captación y almacenamiento, con capacidad de 220 litros. El estudio se realizó en cuatro configuraciones diferentes del calentador solar. Con base en pruebas experimentales, el usar superficie reflejante mejora el desempeño, sin embargo, es más significativo el uso de doble cristal. El mayor gradiente de temperatura se obtiene con doble cristal y superficie reflejante, siendo hasta de 20°C, llevando los 220 litros a 51.1°C, con radiación promedio de 736 W/m2. Con doble cristal, se logra un gradiente de 18.1°C, el peor de los casos ocurrió con el uso de un solo cristal elevando la temperatura del agua a 38.5°C. El sistema presenta una caída de temperatura del agua durante la noche hasta en 10°C, alcanzando en promedio coeficientes de pérdidas globales de 11.3 W/m2 K.
