Abstract

O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a variação sazonal da relação peso-comprimento e do crescimento somático da traíra Hoplias malabaricus no Rio Una do Prelado, no interior da Estação Ecológica Juréia-Itatins (Peruíbe-SP). Foram realizadas oito campanhas (duas por cada estação climática) em oito pontos amostrais, utilizando rede de espera (malha 90 mm) entre março/2024 e fevereiro/2025. Através de análises de covariância foi verificada a diferença entre o inverno e as demais estações climáticas. Também foram observados padrões de crescimento distintos ao longo das estações climáticas. As diferenças registradas podem estar associadas aos diferentes níveis de incremento energético, principalmente relacionados à reprodução e a disponibilidade de alimentos
