FUTURAL Country Factsheet: Policies and governance mechanisms for community-led innovation in rural Romania

Abstract

Based on the results of FUTURAL’s policy analysis (Lostrangio & Pazos-Vidal, 2025), this factsheet provides an overview of the FUTURAL Romanian Case Study, where two community-led innovations are being piloted. The factsheet explores rural innovation in Romania, including the governance framework and institutional and administrative structures, as well as the policy framework within the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), Cohesion Policy, and other relevant national policies.
