This dataset includes the results of Lagrangian particle tracking experiments with Parsels model in the Weddell Sea. Virtual particles were released every 8 hours during a year at 10 m below the surface with the spatial step of 1° of the longitude-latitude grid on the Weddell Sea shelf, where the ocean is shallower than 1500 m. 3D hydrodynamic fields for the model forcing were taken from the WAOM model simulation results (u,v,w,T,S). The following information for each particle is stored once every 5 days: longitude (lon in files), latitude (lat), time (time), depth (z), temperature (temp), salinity (sal), ice draft (ice), travelled distance (distance), ocean depth (dep). All particles’ trajectories are divided by release time between six *.zip archives. Each *.zip archive contains results in NetCDF format for 20 years of simulations and can be considered as an independent data set with 1/6 of the total number of released particles.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
