Image dataset of healthy and pathogen-affected cowpea leaves with suggested control measures

Abstract

This dataset contains images of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata, EPPO Code: VIGSI) crop, including both healthy plants and plants affected by major pathogens, collected during the experimentation of the PLANTHEAD Diagnostic Platform in Ghana, within the framework of the EU Horizon2020 EWA-BELT Project (GA#862848). Within the dataset, the following diseases and their corresponding EPPO codes are represented: Uromyces vignae (EPPO Code: UROMVI) Each folder is organized by pathogen to facilitate data exploration and analysis. In addition, the dataset includes a PDF file providing recommended management solutions for each disease, which can include agronomic, biological, and chemical measures.
