Deepening Into Who We Are: Report on the AFRICAN FUTURES Regional Scenarios Workshop

Abstract

This report presents a participatory visioning workshop held in Kinigi, Rwanda in March 2025. The workshop convened scholars, leaders, and artists from across Africa to envision transformative futures for the continent at the regional scale. This work was part of the AFRICAN FUTURES project, which is supported by the Swedish Research Council FORMAS, Oppenheimer Generations Conservation and Research, and the Transformation Pathways workstream of the Earth Commission.
