This poster was presented by Aiden Boyer and Nicholas Nusgart at the Midwest Cold Atom Workshop (MCAW) which took place at the University of Michigan on November 9, 2024. Our group has historically had a presence at MCAW every year since I (Aiden) joined the group in Fall 2022, and I’m certain we’ve been attendees there since the group was started. This year, Nick and I presented this poster as a duo. For this poster, Nick and I wanted to highlight the recent work that’s been done designing upgrades to our test bench, such as the sub-ambient pressure nanoelectrospray source and the quadrupole mass filter segment. We also wanted to feature Nick’s work on the ro-hyperfine structure of an alkaline-earth monofluoride molecule, and how it might change when embedded in a solid.
