</script>This repository is part of the supplementary information for the publication "Growth-coupled microbial biosynthesis of the animal pigment xanthommatin" authored by Leah B. Bushin, Tobias B. Alter, María V.G. Alván-Vargas, Lara Dürr, Elina C. Olson, Mariah J. Avila, Òscar Puiggené, Taehwan Kim, Leila F. Deravi, Adam M. Feist,Pablo I. Nikel, and Bradley S. Moore. This repository provides code to identify analyze metabolic growth-coupling strategies for xanthommatin production in Pseudomonas putida. The actual computation of growth-coupling strategies is carried out with the Growth-coupling suite; this code runs the Growth-coupling suite and takes those results as input and performs model-based analyses of the identified strategies. Analyses include flux balance simulations, evaluation of growth–product trade-offs, and plots for comparison.
