Abstract

This resource contains two files associated with the puplication "Refining European Crop Mapping Classification through the Integration of Permanent Crops: A Case Study in Rapidly Transitioning Irrigated Landscapes Induced by Dam Construction". dataset_plots_land_cover.zip - Data table in csv format with samples of land cover class and extracted data from Sentinel 1 and Sentinel 2 monthly composite, and a metadata file with column description. map_classification.zip - Geotiff image of the model classification of LULC classes, and a QGIS layer definition with the legend of the classes. In both files, the LULC legend of classes are: 1 - Vineyard2 - Almond grove3 - Traditional olive grove4 - High density olive grove5 - Super high density olive grove6 - Other permanent crops7 - Forest8 - Other occupations
