Fundamentos de la gestión pedagógica para el desarrollo de las habilidades de pensamiento crítico en la Educación Superior

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación consistió en describir los fundamentos de la gestión pedagógica para el desarrollo de las habilidades de pensamiento crítico en la educación superior. La metodología del estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo; el tipo de investigación, básica; el nivel, descriptivo; y el diseño, no experimental, de campo y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 12 docentes y 76 estudiantes de la Escuela de Educación de una universidad pública ubicada en Maracaibo, Venezuela. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario validado por expertos. Los resultados revelaron que los fundamentos de la gestión pedagógica: planificación y organización, ambiente de aprendizaje estimulante y la evaluación de los aprendizajes; y las habilidades de pensamiento crítico: reflexión, lógica y análisis, fueron valorados positivamente en la escala siempre por los alumnos, mientras que los docentes indicaron que casi siempre están presentes. Se concluye que una gestión pedagógica eficaz y entornos educativos estimulantes son clave para desarrollar las habilidades del pensamiento crítico en los estudiantes de educación superior.
