Capacitación docente para mejorar las competencias digitales

Abstract

Este estudio aborda la importancia de fortalecer las competencias digitales docentes en la Escuela Fiscal Adalberto Ortiz Quiñonez, frente a los desafíos de la era digital. El objetivo fue diseñar un plan de capacitación que facilite el desarrollo de habilidades en tecnología educativa, con énfasis en áreas emergentes como inteligencia artificial y gamificación. La investigación utilizó un enfoque mixto, combinando estrategias cuantitativas y cualitativas en un estudio de campo descriptivo explicativo. Se aplicaron cuestionarios, entrevistas y observaciones en una muestra de 32 docentes, seleccionados por interés, junto a expertos en tecnología educativa. La revisión bibliográfica orientó la construcción de instrumentos y el diseño del plan formativo, que consta de seis módulos teórico-prácticos distribuidos en cuatro meses, con metodologías activas y participativas. Los resultados revelaron que los docentes valoran positivamente la capacitación y muestran interés en áreas específicas, aunque persisten brechas en temáticas innovadoras. El análisis de datos indica que una formación flexible, contextualizada y basada en prácticas reales puede potenciar la incorporación efectiva de las tecnologías en el aula. Las conclusiones resaltan que, si bien existe predisposición, es imprescindible implementar un plan continuado y estratégico que no solo mejore habilidades técnicas, sino que también promueva actitudes críticas y éticas en el uso de la tecnología, fortaleciendo la formación docente y contribuyendo a una ciudadanía digital responsable.
