The Economics of Football and the Importance of Youth Infrastructure

Abstract

This study examines the role of infrastructure investments in the sustainability of football clubs’ economic performance. By analyzing examples from Europe and Turkey, the research highlights how youth academies and well-structured infrastructure contribute to both sporting success and financial stability. The findings emphasize the importance of long-term planning, investment in young talent, and disciplined transfer policies to ensure the growth and sustainability of football at both club and national levels.
