Abstract

DescriptionSupplementary material (set up and forcing data) for the reanalysis-driven evaluation simulations for the Baltic and North Seas (NBS) with a regional coupled ocean–atmosphere model (ROAM-NBS) and the uncoupled ocean model (NEMO-NBS).Set upTo set up and run initial time steps of the experiments (7 days for the coupled simulation and 1 month for the ocean only), we provide the configuration files, the initial, static and boundary data, which were used to conduct the experiments: - the tar-file ROAM-NBS_setup_and_data.tar.gz contains the set up and data for the coupled experiment - the file ROAM-NBS_runscripts.tar.gz contains the running scripts for the coupled experiment - the file NEMO-NBS_setup_and_data.tar.gz contains the data, set up and the running scripts for the ocean only experimentBoth setups were tested on the HPC of Deutscher Wetterdienst but can be adapted to other HPCs.
