ALOIS-DB - Database of Speech and Language Affected by Mild Cognitive Impairment

Abstract

ALOIS-DB is a Slovak speech database created for research purposes aimed at early detection of cognitive decline from speech. It currently contains 258 speakers performing various tasks, such as sustained vowel phonation, diadochokinesis, naming, verbal fluency, picture description and procedural discourse task. Commonly available tablets were used for data collection. Audio files are saved in Microsoft waveform format with Pulse Code Modulation with 16 bit depth and sampling rate of 48kHz. The sample of speakers consists of individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and healthy controls (HC). ALOIS-DB is provided free for scientific research purposes. Usage of the dataset is based on the terms and conditions of the data usage agreement.
