The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed geospatial research as it allows an effective analysis of spatial data, predictive modeling and real-time decision-making. The paper is dedicated to the discussion of the applications of AI in remote sensing, urban planning, environmental monitoring, and disaster management and it is poised on the case-based discussion. It addresses such AI methods as machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL) and computer vision, as well as issues relating to data quality and ethical issues. The paper ends with future research of AI on geospatial technologies to resolve world challenges.
