Brief diagnosis. ♂, Body length 6–7 mm, sternite V having a pair of spiny tubercles on both sides, posterior tubercle being compound. Distribution in India. Maharashtra Tamil Nadu (Ascher & Pickering, 2025; Pannure & Belavadi, 2017), Kerala (New record). General distribution. Oriental – China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam (Ascher & Pickering, 2025). Floral association. Unknown.
