Brief diagnosis. ♂, Body length less than 7 mm. Hind tibia slightly swollen, with an elongated and pointed apical lobe bearing two tibial spurs. ♀, Body length, colour and pubescence similar to male, Punctation on tergites weak. Distribution in India. Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, West Bengal (Pauly, 2009; Pannure & Belavadi, 2017; Majumder et al., 2024; Ascher & Pickering, 2025), Kerala (New record). General distribution. Oriental – India, Sri Lanka (Ascher & Pickering, 2025). Floral association. Tectona grandis (Lamiaceae) (Pannure & Belavadi, 2017); Cleome rutidosperma, Cleome viscosa (Cleomaceae), Cyanthillium cinereum, Mikania micrantha (Asteraceae), Mimosa pudica, Neustanthus phaseoloides (Fabaceae), Sesamum radiatum (Pedaliaceae) (New records).
