D4.6 Safety assessment for ammonia handling in the system

Abstract

Deliverable D4.6 provides a comprehensive assessment of the safety aspects of handling ammonia in the MiniStor system carried out in Task 4.5 of WP4. It covers the state of legislation on the use of ammonia and the associated risks at EU and French levels. The report focuses on specific safety measures and operational guidelines for the TCM unit, addressing the risks associated with the operation of the components used in the TCM unit and with external factors. The aim of this analysis is to ensure the safe and efficient handling of ammonia in the MiniStor unit, by prioritizing compliance, risk management and operational practices. This report is relevant to professionals and stakeholders involved in ammonia handling, as it highlights the importance of legal compliance, risk mitigation and safe operational procedures. It thus contributes to the safe operation of the TCM system, minimizing risks to users' health, the environment and safety in general.
