Abstract

The first report of a species of Frankliniella curiosa group for Costa Rica is presented in this paper. Have been recently collected two specimens of this species in the inflorescence of an undetermined species of Ageratum sp. The collect was carried out in San Pablo de Leon Cortes, Province of San Jose, Costa Rica. The identification of specimens of the species Frankliniella curiosa from Panama is doubtful

Se presenta el primer informe de una especie del grupo Frankliniella curiosa en Costa Rica. Se han recolectado recientemente dos especímenes de esta especie en la inflorescencia de una especie no determinada de Ageratum sp. La recolecta se efectuó en San Pablo de León Cortés, Provincia de San José, Costa Rica. La identificación de especímenes de Panamá como la especie Frankliniella curiosa es dudosa.
