Tetiaroa Data Management Procedures

Abstract

The Tetiaroa Society Data Management Procedures describe the data management practices. The Tetiaroa Society uses the iPlaces platform to manage research project applications, publish Marker Papers, and link projects to their downstream outputs. The platform integrates ORCID, ROR, and Local Contexts Notices to ensure transparent attribution, ethical sample stewardship, and compliance with Tetiaroa’s Access & Benefit Sharing (ABS) Agreement. Together, these practices support place-based scientific research and equitable knowledge sharing on Tetiaroa.
