Urban Heat Mitigation Under Realistic Roof and Land Area Constraints: Austin, TX

Abstract

This .zip file contains the follwing 3 sub-folders: WRF_Simulations folder: Contains the WRF-Urban simulation outputs for all the cases (Control, Cool roof, Green roof, Solar PV, Gradens, Trees, Realistic cool roof, realistic green roof, realistic solar PV, realistic cool roof + graden, and realistic cool roof + trees). Others folder: Contains some additional files are the required to reproduce the plots from the paper. SOLWEIG_Simulations: Contains the SOLWEIG UTCI simulations on 13th August 2020 at 10 AM, 2 PM and 6 PM. The original SOLWEIG UTCI data is at 2-meter resolution while the SOLWEIG aggregated and WRF-Urban data are at 1 km resolution. Jupyter notebook: Figures .ipynb file is a Jupyter notebook that contains the codes for the plots shown in the main and supplementary material of the paper.
