Abstract

This table serves as supplementary material for the scientific article titled Phanerozoic Paleoenvironmental and Paleoclimatic Evolution in Svalbard. It provides a comprehensive review of 148 selected scientific articles that explore various proxies used to reconstruct Svalbard's paleoenvironment and paleoclimate over the Phanerozoic Eon. The dataset encompasses diverse proxy types, including: Biological proxies (e.g., fossil assemblages) Climate-sensitive sedimentary facies Geochemical proxies (e.g., isotopic analyses). The structure provides a user-friendly and period-specific approach (individual scheets), enabling researchers to easily navigate across geologic time.
