Radiografía del discurso de odio en redes sociales

Abstract

Este informe forma parte del desarrollo del proyecto de investigación HATEMEDIA y ofrece una radiografía del discurso de odio en redes sociales digitales, con especial atención a los perfiles de medios informativos españoles en plataformas como Facebook, Twitter (actualmente X) y las propias webs de los diarios. El estudio abarca mensajes publicados entre enero de 2021 y junio de 2022 y tiene como objetivo identificar, categorizar y analizar expresiones hostiles dirigidas a contenidos periodísticos. Mediante técnicas automatizadas de recopilación de datos y un sistema de clasificación supervisada, se analizaron comentarios publicados como respuesta a cinco medios representativos del panorama informativo español: El País, ABC, El Mundo, La Vanguardia y 20 Minutos. Los mensajes fueron etiquetados según su tipo de odio (político, xenófobo, misógino, sexual o general) y nivel de intensidad (de 1 a 4, desde mensajes incívicos hasta amenazas explícitas). La muestra fue construida sobre un marco estratificado que garantiza la diversidad de soportes, medios, temáticas y niveles de agresividad, permitiendo así un análisis equilibrado de los datos. Este documento sintetiza las principales tendencias detectadas, con un enfoque divulgativo y didáctico que busca no solo presentar cifras, sino también fomentar la reflexión y ofrecer herramientas útiles para docentes, medios y actores del ámbito educativo.
