This tool creates anonymized standard load profile for industry segments from real (usually confidential) measurement data. The resulting standard load profiles are normalized to (1) annual electricity or heat demand, (2) number of employees, and (3) production area in square meters. Users can use any of these three parameters to scale the standard load profiles, depending on data availability. The tool is specifically designed to remove characteristics in individual measurement data that would allow conclusions about the actual location, production process, name of the company, etc. The responsibility for data confidentiality, of course, remains soley with the user. Currently, the MATLAB Live Script tool is only suitable for Germany and is mostly wirtten in German. The commenting, however, is translated to English, so users can follow the logic of the code. We will provide a more widely usable Python version by end of 2025.
