Heliconius melpomene wing images from common garden experiment - Batch 2

Abstract

Photographs of dorsal wings of Heliconius melpomene butterflies reared under common garden conditions at Ikiam university between 2018 and 2020 (batch 2, containing samples 19N0235 to 19N0866). File names correspond to "Preservation IDs" in the associated data files. Wings were photographed with a Nikon D7000 APS-C DSLR with fixed settings of: 40 mm f/2.8 lens, f/10, 1/60, ISO 100, under standardised conditions with an X-Rite passport colorchecker and ruler included. Photographs have been colour corrected in Adobe Photoshop 2021 using the colorchecker.
