ATLAS Ontology – Version 2.0 Release Notes The ATLAS Ontology is an OWL 2 DL ontology designed to model scholarly research projects and their outcomes within the domain of Cultural Heritage. It provides a structured representation of key types of research outputs, including: Text Collections Digital Scholarly Editions Linked Open Data Ontologies Software Language Models (introduced in version 2.0) 3D Digital Twins (introduced in version 2.0) What's New in Version 2.0 Introduced two new classes: atlas:LanguageModel and atlas:3DDigitalTwin Added alignments with external ontologies: OntoSoft Ontology, BIBFRAME Removed deprecated namespaces: foaf, swo Refined and updated several RDF properties to improve modeling precision This release includes the serialized ATLAS Ontology v2.0, updated mapping files, and comprehensive changelog documentation.
