
This observational study examines geographic variation in consumer interest for tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty) across 12 major U.S. cities using Google Keyword Planner data from January 2022 to May 2025. Cities analyzed include Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, New York, Chicago, Tampa, Phoenix, Austin, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Nashville. Average monthly search volume and year-over-year (YoY) percentage growth were calculated for seven high-intent tummy tuck-related keywords. Miami led in total search volume, while Nashville and Austin showed the highest YoY growth (+14.8% and +11.2%, respectively), indicating rising regional demand in emerging markets. In contrast, cities like Los Angeles and New York exhibited high baseline interest with modest growth, suggesting market maturity. This study supports the use of digital search data as a proxy for aesthetic procedure interest and highlights regional trends that can guide providers in tailoring marketing strategies and patient outreach. Limitations include the use of estimated search volume ranges and lack of statistical testing. The findings offer practical implications for clinics aiming to expand or shift their geographic focus based on real-time consumer interest in tummy tuck procedures.
