Bactra legitima Meyrick, 1911, Trans. Linn. Soc. Lond. 14: 269. Type locality: Seychelles, “ Sil-houette Island, Mare aux Cochons ”. Holotype (♀): BMNH. Bactra loeligeri Diakonoff, 1956, Zool. Verh. Leiden 29: 17. Type locality: Russia. “ Primorsky Krai, Ussuri, Vinogradovka ”. Holotype (♂): NCB. Bactra limitata Diakonoff, 1956, Zool. Verh. Leiden 29: 37. Type locality: Indonesia. “ West Java, Bandung ”. Holotype (♂): BMNH. Bactra insignis Diakonoff, 1963, Ann. Naturhist. Mus. Wien 66: 474 Type locality: Sudan. “ Nubia, Wadi Halfa ”. Holotype (♂): ZSM. Distribution outside Thailand: Sri Lanka (Meyrick 1909), Indonesia (Diakonoff 1956), and China (Kawabe et al., 1992). Distribution in Thailand: E–– Chanthaburi Prov. (Phlio Waterfall N.P.) and N––Chaing Mai Prov. (Chiang Dao) (Diakonoff 1959a; Kawabe 1989). Host plants: Unknown. Remarks: Specimens from Thailand were collected in moist evergreen forest at 100 m. Diakonoff (1959a) did not mention about forest type and elevation.
