Badajoz esquizo: un patchwork-ensayo

Abstract

El artículo plantea una mirada fractal a la evolución reciente de la ciudad, atendiendo tanto a presentes (reales o virtuales), como sobre todo, dada la naturaleza de la colección, en base al pasado, o pasados. Puesto que el pasado no sólo tiene distintas lecturas, sino que en el caso de las ciudades podemos observar pasados que son muy distintos, incluso en su nuda objetividad, según desde qué posición social han sido vividos. En este caso son visionados desde la propia experiencia vital del autor. El concepto con el que jugamos es el esquizo, que como es sabido remite a la esquizofrenia, una dolencia que sin duda caracteriza a esta ciudad, pero cuyo campo semántico es más complejo, referido a ambivalencias y contradicciones. Así, el artículo presenta, sin pretensión alguna de ser la última palabra de nada, ni siquiera de presentar una tesis sólida, algunos elementos que deberían considerarse para pensar, y entender en sus limitaciones estructurales, Badajoz. El texto es una combinación reticular de textos actuales y antiguos, de autoplagio según la concepción moderna del hipertexto y sus pecados. Un patchwork construido con retales rebuscados en el baúl de antiguas miradas.
