Slepian Bases for "Online Stochastic Generators Using Slepian Bases for Regional Bivariate Wind Speed Ensembles from ERA5"

Abstract

This repository contains two compressed archives that support the reproducibility of the analyses in the paper "Online Stochastic Generators Using Slepian Bases for Regional Bivariate Wind Speed Ensembles from ERA5". "Slepian_ARP.zip": Contains all Slepian bases used in the study. These bases are provided as precomputed files to facilitate replication of the analyses without the need for recomputation. "Slepian_Code.zip": Contains MATLAB code for generating the Slepian bases used in the study. To reproduce the bases, please run the script "SlepianBasesGen_ARP.m". This code applies the method proposed by Bates et al. (2017) to the Arabian Peninsula region and allows users to reproduce the bases independently or adapt the approach for related applications.
