This abstract booklet contains the contributions presented at the Crossing the Palaeontological-Ecological Gap Meeting (CPEG) and the Conservation Palaeobiology Symposium (CPB) 2025, held jointly at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, from 27 July to 1 August 2025. The conference brings together researchers from palaeontology, ecology, and conservation science to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. Topics include biogeography, community and population ecology, food web dynamics, extinction mechanisms, biodiversity conservation, and the application of geohistorical records to ecological and conservation challenges. The programme features keynote lectures, oral presentations, lightning talks, poster sessions, and workshops, providing a platform for exchange among established scholars, early-career researchers, and students. Organised by the CPEG & CPB 2025 Scientific and Organising Committees, this booklet serves as a reference for the diversity of research presented at the meeting.
