Abstract

Aneurociência computacional consolidou-se como campo interdisciplinar crucial, estabelecendo pontes entre os avanços neurocientíficos e as tecnologias computacionais para o desenvolvimento de sistemas neuromórficos biologicamente inspirados. Este estudo apresenta uma revisão narrativa dos fundamentos teóricos da neurociência computacional, traçando a evolução histórica das aplicações computacionais e elucidando a emergência deste domínio científico, desde os modelos pioneiros de neurônios artificiais até as arquiteturas contemporâneas de computação neuromórfica, incluindo implementações em hardware especializado e algoritmos de aprendizado profundo. Particularmente a identificação e análise dos desafios de segurança emergentes em sistemas neuromórficos atuais, considerando vulnerabilidades intrínsecas ao design, essa compreensão aprofundada destes aspectos de segurança revela-se fundamen tal para o desenvolvimento responsável e a implementação segura de tecnologias neuromórficas.

Computational neuroscience has consolidated itself as a crucial interdisciplinary field, establishing bridges between neuroscientific advances and computational technologies for the development of biologically inspired neuromorphic systems. This study presents a narrative review of the theoretical foundations of computational neuroscience, tracing the historical evolution of computational applications and elucidating the emergence of this scientific domain, from pioneering artificial neuron models to contemporary neuromorphic computing architectures, including implementations in specialized hardware and deep learning algorithms. Particularly relevant is the identification and analysis of emerging security challenges in current neuromorphic systems, considering vulnerabilities intrinsic to their design. This in-depth understanding of these security aspects proves fundamental for the responsible development and secure implementation of neuromorphic technologies
